Charity of the Year 2026

Supporting brighter opportunities for children and young adults with disabilities

At Gisby Harrison Solicitors, we believe in helping our local community to make a positive difference. That's why we're proud to support Brighter Opportunities for Special People (BOSP) as our Charity of the Year.

BOSP is a long established, award winning, local charity that works to improve the lives of children and young adults with complex disabilities or life limiting conditions, as well as the families who care for them.

What BOSP does for the local community

Through a wide range of clubs, services and activities, BOSP delivers meaningful support for young people and their families, including:

  • Day, evening, weekend and school holiday clubs
  • Community and hall based activities
  • Support and respite care for families and carers
  • Inclusive activities that build independence, confidence and social skills

These services currently support families across Basildon, Pitsea, Billericay and Brentwood, as well as other local communities throughout Essex and London Borough of Havering.

Why Gisby Harrison is supporting BOSP for 2026

As a firm rooted in our local community, we see first-hand the difference that reliable and understanding support can make, whether in law or in charitable work.

Through fundraising, awareness and continued support across the year, our team is proud to stand behind a charity that provides vital services to young people and families who need them most.

How you can support BOSP

BOSP relies on the support of individuals, businesses and the local community to continue delivering vital services.
